Walter Bertazzolo holds the diploma of industrial chemical expert.

He graduated in 1995 at the University of Milan, Institute of General Pathology, with a thesis on the molecular biology of Borrelia burgdorferi  and he carried out a period of training in Veterinary Clinical Pathology at the Pathology Department of the University of Milan.

Author of about fifty publications in international indexed journals on topics related to clinical pathology and oncology, in October 2005 he obtained recognition as a de facto member of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology.

​

He carries out consultancy in clinical pathology for the Ospedale Veterinario città di Pavia (Italy) and the Clinica Veterinaria Tibaldi in Milan (Italy), and is the Scientific Director of the LaVallonea laboratory.

​

He was the President of SCIVAC - Italian Society of Veterinarians for Pets from 2016 to 2019 and now is its Senior President.
